GUtech participates in Higher
Education Fair

MUSCAT — The German
University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) participated in the annual Higher
Education Fair at the Indian School Muscat yesterday. Around 600 students
from grade IX to XII attended the exhibition, where local and international
universities showcased their programmes. “Around 20 per cent of our students
are studying at universities in Oman,” said Achuthan Madhav, Principal of
the Indian School Muscat. “After my high school graduation, I would love to
stay here in Oman and close to my family,” said a 16-year-old female student
from grade IX.
Favourite fields of the students are engineering, medicine and IT. GUtech is
located in Athaiba and offers a wide range of study programmes: Applied
Geosciences, Applied Information Technology, Urban Planning and Architecture
and Regional Management and Tourism. GUtech is affiliated to RWTH Aachen
University, one of the largest universities of Technology in Europe. All
GUtech programmes are taught in English and are internationally accredited. |
