Rainfall in wilayats
MODERATE to light rain fell in some wilayats yesterday.  In Musandam Governorate, moderate rainfall was reported in the Wilayat of Barka and the villages of Al Jadi, Al Jari, Harf, Hall, Ghamdaa, Fadhghaa and Taibat. In the Wilayat of Khasab, light rain fell in the villages of Kaqada, Al Hajir, and Harat al Kamazra.

Moderate rain was reported in Al Sawadi in the Batinah region. The Directorate-General of Meteorology and Aviation forecasts indicate partly cloudy skies may prevail over Musandam Governorate and clear to partly cloudy skies with chances of isolated rain may extend over coastal areas of Gulf of Oman, Al Hajar mountains and adjoining areas.  Mainly clear skies are forecast over the rest of the Sultanate with chances of dusty winds in Buraimi, Dhofar, Dhahira and Wusta. Relatively cold winds are expected to continue over most of the Sultanate.                                                                                                                                                                                                                       — ONA
