Majlis Addawla panel discusses
rental sector report and role of media

MUSCAT — Majlis Addawla
Bureau held here yesterday its second meeting of the third annual session of
the fourth term under the auspices of Dr Yahya bin Mahfoudh al Mantheri, the
Majlis Chairman. The meeting was attended by members of the bureau and
Khalid bin Salim al Sa'eedi, Secretary-General of the Majlis Addawla. The
meeting looked into the list of executive procedures taken with regard to
decisions of the office meeting and did a study of the follow-up report of
the committee’s activities between the bureau's previous and current
meetings.
The meeting discussed the report of the Legal Committee on 'Rental Sector'
which sought to study the legal aspects which govern the relationship
between owners and tenants of residences, commercial shops and industrial
units. It discussed a number of other topics concerning the Majlis's
reporting mechanism and the role of media in raising awareness with regard
to the role of the Council. |
