Forum on cyber crimes opens
SALALAH —
A forum on cyber crimes and intellectual property rights (IPR) protection
opened at Salalah Hilton here yesterday under the auspices of Ahmed bin
Hassan al Dheeb, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry
for Commerce and Industry. The three-day event is organised by the GCC
Commercial Arbitration Centre in collaboration with the OCCI branch in
Dhofar.
Amir bin Ahmed al Amri, member of the OCCI branch in Dhofar Governorate, and
Tawfiq bin Abdul Mohsen al Lawati, Deputy Chairman of the GCC Commercial
Arbitration Centre, spoke on the occasion. The forum includes theory and
practicals in cyber crimes. Experts, consultants and legal advisers
representing public and private institutions in the GCC are take part in the
forum.
