ROP chief in talks with Qatar labour minister

MUSCAT — Lt Gen Malik bin Sulaiman al Maamari, Inspector General of Police and Customs, received here yesterday Dr Sultan bin Hassan al Dosari, Qatar’s Minister of Labour. They discussed issues pertaining to labour systems and residency in both countries, ways of exchanging expertise and promoting co-operation on national manpower and security.

The meeting was also focused on Omanis employed in Qatar and the attention and care accorded to them. The meeting was attended by Maj Gen Salim bin Musallam bin Ali Qatan, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs, Hamad bin Khamis al Amri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Manpower for Technical Education and Vocational Training, officials from the Ministry of Manpower & senior ROP officers.
