MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Qaboos received at Bait al Baraka yesterday King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and Honorary Chairman of the World Scout Foundation (WSF). His Majesty the Sultan and King Gustaf discussed co-operation between the Sultanate and the WSF, particularly the organisation’s role in supporting environment awareness.

HM Cup for Fisheries competition
MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Qaboos’s Cup for Fisheries competition, in which all coastal wilayats of the Sultanate take part, began yesterday. The competition aims to spread public awareness about the economic importance of fisheries which are considered a renewable natural resource capable of continuously generating job opportunities and providing food security if properly managed.
