Farewell to Tunisian ambassador
MUSCAT  —
Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, received here yesterday Hamoudah al Rihani, Ambassador of the Tunisian Republic, to bid him farewell at the end of his tour of duty in the Sultanate. Bin Alawi wished the ambassador success in his future assignments and further progress in bilateral relations between the Sultanate and the Tunisian Republic. The meeting was attended by Khadeeja bint Hassan al Lawatiyah, Head of the Minister’s Office Department, Sayyid Mohammed bin Salim al Said, Head of the Protocols  Department and a number of officials at the ministry. — ONA

SAI signs agreement to build new building
MUSCAT—
Sayyid Abdullah bin Hamad al Busaidy, Chairman of the State Audit Institution (SAI), yesterday signed an agreement with Abu Hatim Company to construct a new building for SAI in the Al Bustan area. The agreement was signed for the company implementing the project by Udday bin Said bin Abdullah al Harhty, chairman of the company. The total cost of the project is RO 8,612,004, and the total duration of the project implementation is 540 days. The ceremony was attended by Nassir bin Hamoud bin Salim al Rawahi, SAI’s deputy chairman, and a number of SAI officials. — ONA

New ibis Muscat hotel hosts tour for local media
