The fair saw an overwhelming response from the student community who came in

the fair were impressed with the organising of the fair and response from
the student community. Most of the participants showed their
willingness to be part of the career fair in the future as well.
The participants were also glad to see the quality of graduates. “The
quality of the students is very good, we have shortlisted a few of them”
said Saeed al Obaidani, Recruitment Manager, Oman International Bank. “The
fair was a good opportunity for the graduates to get an insight about the
various companies and available job opportunities”, said Dr. Qassim al
Mar’ashi, the college dean.
The fair has certainly given a head start to the careers of many of the
graduates who attended the fair. Dr Al Mar’ashi told the Observer, "The
career fair is the result of our continuous efforts and commitment to
provide employment opportunities for our graduates". Oman Establishment for
Press, Publishing and Advertising (OEPPA), publishers of Oman Daily Observer
and its sister Arabic daily Oman, was the media sponsor of the ICT Career
Fair. Dr Al Mar’ashi said it was one of the largest career fairs in the
