SAF visits patients, frontier servicemen

MUSCAT — On the occasion of the Eid al Adha celebrations, the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) Directorate of Morale Guidance organised visits to military hospitals run by the SAF yesterday. The aim was to instill happiness in the hearts of patients who are personnel of the SAF or their families. The SAF teams gave gifts to the patients at the Armed Forces Hospital in Al Khoudh and the Murtafaa Garrison’s Mosque. Other officers of the SAF visited the Umm al Ghawarif Camp’s hospital in the Governorate of Dhofar. The patients expressed their delight at the visits and their appreciation of the gesture.

They prayed to the Almighty to protect His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and grant him many happy returns of the occasion.Also on the occasion of Eid al Adha, a number of officers from the SAF visited servicemen working during the Eid holiday in border areas.  The visits covered, among other places, the posts at the frontiers in the Dhahirah region, namely the Northern Frontier Regiment, the Al Jabal Regiment and the Western Frontier Security Force of the Royal Army of Oman. The officers conveyed the greetings of the SAF Chief of Staff and leaders of the Armed forces wings.
