Al Attiyah praises His Majesty’s
support for environment cause
ABDUL — Rahman bin Hamad al Attiyah, Secretary-General of the GCC,
has commended His Majesty’s generous and boundless support for the GCC joint
march. In a statement, Al Attiyah hailed His Majesty’s generous donation in
support of the GGC award for environmental works.
The prize, he said, is meant to help raise awareness among the region’s
peoples about the environment and to encourage research and innovation among
individuals and institutions for tackling current environmental challenges.
The GCC secretary-general said the Sultanate under His Majesty’s leadership
has always been at the forefront in implementing the GCC Supreme Council’s
decisions aimed at strengthening cooperation among member states. — ONA |
